Selected Works

After graduating from Baruch College, I set out to tell the stories of individuals that I encountered in the fashion industry and bring my imagination to life.
This is a brief selection of work over the years.

John Elliott's Insta-Scavenger Hunt on The Impression

An interview with designer John Elliott about his decision to unveil his Spring/Summer 2018 collection on Instagram.

Designer John Elliott chose to debut the Spring/Summer 2018 collection of his namesake label on Instagram instead of holding a runway show.
When I first saw that John debuted his latest collection on social media, I scoured the Internet for runway show images to no avail. After hours of research, I discovered that the collection debuted exclusively on Instagram, and after speaking with John for close to an hour, I learned that the decision was well-planned and, in my opinion, well-timed.

The interview touches on John's decision to debut the collection on social media, how he felt during the debut, his inspiration for Spring/Summer 2018, and why the changing fashion landscape is more exciting than it is intimidating.

Mission Innovation: A Conversation With PH5 Founders Wei Lin and Mijia Zhang

I spoke with PH5 Founders Wei Lin and Mijia Zhang about how they founded their label, their experience in the Woolmark competition and the invention of their new fabric, sheer wool.

A friend connected me with Wei and Mijia prior to the announcement of the Woolmark US Prize winner, an award that Wei and Mijia were nominated for. Wei, Mijia and I spoke briefly about their experience in the Woolmark competition, as well as how they joined forces to start the label, but we talked mainly about how the duo invented a new yarn called "sheer wool." The new fabric was the focal point of the PH5 capsule collection for Woolmark, and Wei and Mijia, who I believe were destined to work together, have plans to use the new fabric to its fullest potential.

home for the holidays | what to wear by Megan Collins on CraveOnline

Megan gives style advice on how to dress for the cold weather, with pieces from Uniqlo.

Megan and I shot products from Uniqlo and two outfits from the retailer both indoors and outdoors. The outfits, which included knitwear, skirts, leggings and knit socks, were accessorized with Uniqlo Heattech jackets that Megan treated like autumn leaves and heaps of snow to show its light weight. We also shot laydown products on a white seamless and lifestyle images.
